Mr ANOULACK CHANTHIVONG (Macquarie Fields—Minister for Better Regulation and Fair Trading, Minister for Industry and Trade, Minister for Innovation, Science and Technology, Minister for Building, and Minister for Corrections)—I pay my respects to long-term Ingleburn resident, Faye Savage, who recently passed away. A much-loved member of the Ingleburn Knitting Group, Faye will be greatly missed. I had the honour of meeting Faye in 2023 and presented her with a certificate from the Australian Red Cross acknowledging her service as a volunteer Trauma Teddy knitter for 15 years. Faye knitted hundreds of trauma teddies, providing comfort for countless children through times of crisis – whether fleeing a bushfire, flood or other emergency; in an ambulance or hospital; or providing a warm welcome for refugee children. Faye's contributions were highly commendable, yet she was forever humble. Not one to enjoy the spotlight, Faye worked quietly and tirelessly to generously help others. A quiet achiever, Faye found immense joy, connection, and friends among the Ingleburn Knitting Group. Faye was loving wife of Frank; mother of two children (one deceased); and devoted to her four grandsons and eight great-grandchildren. We are grateful for Faye's valuable contributions to our community. May she rest in peace.
