Mr ANOULACK CHANTHIVONG (Macquarie Fields—Minister for Better Regulation and Fair Trading, Minister for Industry and Trade, Minister for Innovation, Science and Technology, Minister for Building, and Minister for Corrections) — The Macquarie Fields electorate is home to many sporting groups that provide inclusive spaces for recreation and foster community spirit. Softball Campbelltown celebrates 45 years of being a fixture of the community and promoting athleticism, sportsmanship and camaraderie. Softball Campbelltown was founded in October 1978 as the Campbelltown and District Softball Association at what is now Milton Park Softball Complex in Ingleburn. Beginning as a humble community association, Softball Campbelltown has now become one of the finest softball groups in NSW with more than 600 members ranging from young to old. The association has also had strong competitive success. Softball Campbelltown are reigning back-to-back champions in Under 12 Boys/Mixed State Championship, having won in 2022 and 2023. I am proud to be a patron of this amazing association. I commend the efforts of everyone involved in helping Softball Campbelltown reach this home run of a milestone.
