Mr ANOULACK CHANTHIVONG (Macquarie Fields—Minister for Better Regulation and Fair Trading, Minister for Industry and Trade, Minister for Innovation, Science and Technology, Minister for Building, and Minister for Corrections) — I congratulate Mr Richard Bromley on being awarded a 2024 NSW Government Community Service Award. Later, Mr Bromley joined the Campbelltown District Softball Association [CDSA]. He served on the Board as umpire convenor, competition convenor as well as President on two separate occasions. The CDSA was successful in becoming the 4th venue for the 2009 World Masters Games. As an umpire for the representative team, Mr Bromley travelled to various locations in NSW. In 2010, Mr Bromley was proudly accepted as a Life Member of CDSA. In 2013, CDSA was rebranded Softball Campbelltown. Mr Bromley was a founding Board member and achieved level 3 accreditation in coaching. Mr Bromley continued his involvement through to retirement from the Board in 2018. He continues to mentor Board members to this day. This year, Mr Bromley has been actively involved in Softball Campbelltown's 45th anniversary celebrations. I commend Mr Bromley's long and dedicated commitment to softball in our community.
