Mr ANOULACK CHANTHIVONG (Macquarie Fields—Minister for Better Regulation and Fair Trading, Minister for Industry and Trade, Minister for Innovation, Science and Technology, Minister for Building, and Minister for Corrections)—Say the words generous and welcoming, and for many in the Macquarie Fields electorate the team at the local Salvation Army in Macquarie Fields will come to their minds. I am a regular visitor of the Macquarie Fields Salvos, and it is always great to see so many friends and familiar faces volunteering to do their bit for our local community. The team do everything from operating the Salvos shop to raise money, to serving amazing coffee and cakes at the café, to providing financial planning advice and much more. The Salvos have also run their annual Red Shield Appeal over the past two months to raise much-needed funds that go directly to helping people with food, clothing and support in the Campbelltown area. There are always people coming to the Mac Fields Salvos for help, but the current cost-of-living crisis has forced many to turn to the local team for the first time. I commend Darren and his Mac Fields Salvos team for continuing their great work in the community.
