Mr ANOULACK CHANTHIVONG (Macquarie Fields—Minister for Better Regulation and Fair Trading, Minister for Industry and Trade, Minister for Innovation, Science and Technology, Minister for Building, and Minister for Corrections) — Tis the season for giving and our community's big-heartedness is once again on display. With the cost-of-living crisis, our community is turning more than ever to local charities for assistance. I thank the following organisations for their continued service to helping others in times of need. The Rotary Club of Ingleburn is again hosting its annual 'Gifts of Hope for Children' in the lead-up to Christmas. A group of committed local organisations are involved in this year's Christmas Toy Drive, including South West Multicultural and Community Centre; Hands on Hearts Macarthur; Minto Cobras, the Silver Coin Project; NSW Council for Pacific Communities; The Formal Project; and Young Spirit Mentoring Program [YSMP]. The Shining Stars Foundation is hosting its Hamper and Toy Drive, seeking donations of non-perishable food. I am proud of our community's generosity and commitment to helping others. Our local area is renowned for its strong sense of community spirit. I thank everyone for their kind donations, for giving their precious time and for their commitment to supporting others. Our community is all the better for these acts of generosity at this time of year.
